What is the Ergo?

 

The Ergo Baby Carrier is a unique baby carrier with padded shoulder straps and a very supportive waistbelt, which puts most of your baby's weight on your hips and takes the pressure off your shoulders. We found that it really helped for our 13kg sumo at 10m! Very importantly, baby is supported in a seated position rather than being hung by the crotch.

The New Generation Ergo is great for hiking and gardening, housework and shopping, traveling and giving active parents the freedom to go with their baby attached. Worn on the front, it is perfect for nursing and simply holding your baby close to your heart. At infancy, the Ergo and its Infant Insert (available for order) supports your newborn like a baby sling while having both hands free to work.
